i read the test_remote_smb file and there is an added line and a letter missing in line 2 that would bring it in line with what the article says. i did an edit --help in the terminal for information on editing the file and i just didn't understand completely what i was reading. should i use vim -W test_remote_smb to edit the file? then how do i save it? is there a way to su in konqueror so i can edit the file? i'm really trying to understand this and get my printers where i can see them on the network. thanks for your help. dwain -- Dwain Alford Alford Design Group P.O.
