Hello list members, this is probably not the right place to ask, but maybe some guru can answer it for me.
I just ordered a new ASUS M2NPV-VM motherboard, it supports 4 x 240-pin DIMM, support max. 8GB DDR2 800/667/533 ECC and non-ECC,un-buffered memory. Ok, here is my question. I am looking at purchasing memory for it and I see DDR2 667 PC2-5300 and DDR2 PC2-5400, both of the memory kits are dual channel 2 x 1GB sticks, what is the difference between PC2-5300 and PC2-5400, both are running at 667 Mhz?
