hi all,

trying 64 bit 10.2 on my acer...... a first. never had a problem getting
madwifi to work for the atheros chip on this acer with 32 bit 10.2 or any
version of suse for that matter. deleted and installed madwifi from tarball,
64 bit rpm from madwifi site, and also 64 bit from guru via smart, none of
which are providing the kernel module ath_pci.

I am getting no errors when installing via any of the above means.

Rebooting does not do anything either.

Has anyone had luck on 64 bit 10.2 with the madwifi package?

thank you.
