Are they green or red, what does their status say? CUPS generally, is a fine printing mechanism. It has its quirks here and there, mostly popping up because one doesn't thoroughly understand the way it's working. That the case for me, anyhow. But there are many fine resources for more knowledge, how-tos and all.
