Stupid, well............When I have tried it I just get so tired of trying to find anything I gave up. IMHO, Hal is an attempt to fix something that never was broke in the first place.
Smart needs to have the K.I.S.S. Principle applied to it. Beagle, well it doesn't bother me like many others report. Just sort of sits there in the system tray or the bottom corner of Firefox, or whatever, and does nothing. If Beagle does a faster search than the built in "find" it might be well worth it. Just never tried it. Aparmor, about the same as Beagle. Just sort of sits there doing nothing. Zen, as I said before. Some parts of it work a treat. Just leave out the updater portion. It lets me install things that Yast won't/can't, like Gramps that isn't on any of the suse sites.
