I have had the same problem with a Memorex TD Classic 1GB memory stick on a
Sony Vaio running 10.1, but it works perfect on my Dell C521. I think in my
case it's a hardware thing on the Sony, I think the Sony is USB 1.1 and the
memory stick is 2.0, it shouldn't make a differance but who knows.
