I have a problem with the above that makes no sense to me. I can install Suse 10.2 on either of two Hitachi 320 GB disks, with no problem and it will boot from either disk when it is installed this way. If I install and setup raid1, when trying to boot, it comes up with no operating system found. I tried a number of items posted about this on the internet, but nothing seems to help. Disks are partitioned identically and cfdisk shows both are the same including the active partition. Raid1 is setup as follows.
