There are only 3 purposes for using antivirus on linux I can think of at the moment: 1. Scanning emails, so you don't redistribute viruses or don't catch phishing mails. 2. Scanning files provided to Windows Clients via server (SAMBA) 3. Scanning files provided to Windows Clients via removable medias. Which antivirus you gonna use it's up to you.
