hi all ! In addition to the compact 1 CD netinstall ISO some people want due to their online preferences, I have strong offline preference, and I ask to provide a full SUSE distro (FTP tree) on 2 DVDs for 10.3. (as opposed to 1 DVD now)
It will allows us to merge languages back into the DVDs, plus add much more packages that are currently only available online. After all "distro"'s target is to distribute software, not just keep all to itself. I agree that this 2-DVD-set should be modular, that is - all the important packages should go to the first DVD (both GNOME, KDE and first-tier languages) and all the rest into the second one, so users who prefer 1 DVD still can work as they do now. Having the maximum number of available packages offline, in nicely packaged way, is very important for me.
