I'm having issues with getting the wireless connection to work in
10.2. The card seems to be detected fine, and I don't see any sort of
complaints about unsupported or driver issues from anywhere. However,
it doesn't seem to be working. Or doesn't think it is?

It's detected as an HP BCM4306 (which is correct). When I try to
connect to my wireless network, it just churns and churns and
eventually gives up and I have a "no connection" status on the icon
and no Internet. However, when I log into my router and pull up the
list of wireless connections that it currently has, my laptop is
listed! So my router has a connection with it.

Any ideas why the laptop doesn't think it's connected, but my router
sees it as connected to the network?

The connection is set up as WEP, 64-bit/Hex, shared key, not
broadcasting SSID (tried both ways, tho), using MAC filtering; the
router is a D-Link DI-624 provided by Verizon (FiOS), the laptop is an
HP Pavilion zd8120cl. Right now, this or a completely open system are
my only options for the router's setup as I was told their digital
cable boxes can't connect to the network if it's set up with WPA and I
don't want it wide open...

TIA,
Brian
