I guess I do not understand your problem. There is not that much difference between SP1 and SP2 (The big difference is between Home edition and Professional Edition) I work with Pro at work. Every now and then someone will bring me their home computer to fix. I find as Administrator there are several tools missing if they have Home Edition.
