Watch /var/log/cups/error_log what it is actually doing at this time, for more debug messages see http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:CUPS_in_a_Nutshell "If problems are encountered" I cannot imagine what is "Processing..." all the time for a raw queue. It should just forward the data to the appropriate USB port and nothing else.
