That should do away with your $DISPLAY problem, I think :-)

You're right, if I run lineakd after a `su -` I don't have the
$DISPLAY problem. However, the result is exactly the same as for
normal user: I am prompted to create and edit a config file for the
user (in this case root). The program suggests I might want to do this
with klineakconfig, but `klineakconfig` returns a segmentation fault
(exactly the same as for normal user). Editing by hand and running
lineakd also results in the same error as for normal user.
