Hi Tommy,

Wine - is not windows. 
It doesn't handle good any windows program.

Is there any particular reason that you want winzip. 

So far I know Linux handles that better. 
There is program "ark" in 
  Main Menu -- (Applications) -- Utilities -- Ark

There is http://en.opensuse.org/Midnight_Commander
that can read very simple packages using rpm, tar, gzip, zip, rar etc.
