after i tar xzf fuse-2.6.5.tar.gz && cd fuse-2.6.5 && ./configure
--enable-kernel-module && make && make install ....(work well => in root
mode off course)

then i do your instruction above

am i wrong in doing your clues? is checkinstall always success in all
tar.gz?
