I have no idea what this problem might be, but I would suggest you try 
version 10.2, in the hope that the problem was solved already. If 10.2 
also has it, I would report it to bugzilla: it is not a support channel, 
but if the problem is real they will investigate it and probably solve it 
for the next OS version.

You might try pluging in another keyboard.

I'm not sure suport questions are "supported". If you bought the opensuse 
dvd, you are entitled to installation support - but only /installation/ 
support. If you got the enterprise version, then yes, you have support.
