Thanks for your help.

Seams that my problem calmed down. I disable some not used devices (serial and 
parallel ports) and I tweaked the BIOS to distributed the IRQs to the 
devices, not the OS.

Anyway, the fact is that I install 2 SATA drives and I had to shuffle the disk 
cables, before the problem to manifest. I'll take a second look to it.

I also discover this link

some insight to the problem at the kernel level.
