The Thompson SpeedTouch ADSL Modem have the Netgear Router RP614v2
 a DHCP address: 87.203.102.185

 - after giving the command, as root :-

        route add 87.203.102.185 dev eth0 

 - the Netgear Wizard started up - all seems to work OK
