============= That is true, I guess I misunderstood what you were wanting to do, as I thought manipulating images was your objective. Sounded like you had covered most all the KDE programs, Gimp, but not inkscape or OO draw? I like KolourPaint and Krita, KOffice, but I think you had tried both already?
