[opensuse] Problem with Krdc

Prior to upgradinb my linux machine to a 64 bit AMD plstform running 
OpenSUSE 10.2 I was able to use Krdc to logon to my MS XP machine at 
my office.  In fact, I still can from the MS XP on my LAN here in my study.

Now, however, Krdc hangs as soon as it starts 'Establishing connection...'
Any help in solving this problem will be appreciated.
