Indeed not!

/tmp and /var/tmp are the only directories I ever consider need to be
cleaned out, but that still leaves a lot of stuff in /var/adm/. I would
feel very uncomfortable using a cron task to clean out very much in
there, except for /var/adm/backup/rpmdb, which is handled in cron.daily
(file /etc/sysconfig/backup).
