I really do think that the self-appointed List Police need to give it a rest. If you want to do something your way, then that's OK, but I still want to do things MY way! I have participated in a number of Linux-related lists, and the 'my-way-or-the-highway' attitude dished-out by a number of participants on this list is appalling! New users come here for help, but won't bother if they get assaulted for every post. Once upon a time there was a guy who believed that he knew how people wanted to use computers. He believed that everybody should use a computer the way HE wanted to use HIS computer. His name was Bill, and the result was Windows. Unfortunately for Bill, and fortunately for us, we have a choice. I use Linux. I use the computer just the way I want to.
