Of course you need to have network available during installation for this.
How else should the installer know that you can use a online repository.
Ciao, Marcus
I may be in the minority, but if I install onto a new box that happens
to not have a Internet connection during the install I would like to
still eventually get repositories automatically added.
ie. I often seem to not have a valid internet connection during the
install (Lack of NIC support, or installing while not connected,
etc.).
Even a process like the below would be fine for me:
I start yast and select installation support.
The yast module realizes I don't have an online repository listed, so
it prompts me if I want to have one added now.
Possible answers: No Never, Not Now, Try now.
I select try now and if I have a work NIC and Internet connection I
get OSS and non-OSS repository added.
Marcus, if I put the above in bugzilla as an enhancement, would it
likely get accepted?
Thanks
Greg
