I also bought my current main server here at home used at Ebay. It's an old FSC Primergy 470. I just added some bigger SCSI-disks and a second CPU. It is still running here after years of service despite the high temperatures in summer. But no software raid either, only true hardware raid and hot-plug. (^-^) Better used and a bit older but professional hardware than fast but fragile hardware. -- Sandy List replies only please!
