Anyone using 10.2 got it to work? I've installed the 1.4.0.74-static.tar.bz2 from http://www.skype.com/download/skype/linux/ according to the included README, and tried the troubleshooting suggestions at http://forum.skype.com/index.php?showtopic=66109. It seems that "capture" is my problem. KMix says capture is enabled, but alsamixergui shows red dots at the top of the Mic column, and its Capture column is blank and won't let me change it. /var/log/messages shows "kernel: ALSA sound/core/pcm_lib.c:1997: capture read error (DMA or IRQ trouble?)".
