Neither gconf-sharp nor gconf-sharp2 is among those listed in YaST
Software Management. What repository might contain it? And how was I
able to install without package dependency problems? I suppose I could
have overruled one, but I don't remember doing that.

I checked the ignored dependencies list, and there was nothing that
appeared relevant. Here's an excerpt from Software Management's
conflict report (I had to reset the ignored conflicts to generate it):

java-1_5_0-sun 1.5.0_03-2 conflict
java-1_5_0-sun-alsa 1.5.0_03-2 conflict
java-1_5_0-sun-demo 1.5.0_03-2 conflict
java-1_5_0-sun-devel 1.5.0_03-2 conflict
java-1_5_0-sun-jdbc 1.5.0_03-2 conflict
java-1_5_0-sun-plugin 1.5.0_03-2 conflict
libtotem-plparser.so.0 not available
python-gnome-extras 2.11.3-3 conflict
/usr/bin/bash not available
viewglob 2.0.4-1.pm.1 conflict

(And yes, I have BASH installed. The viewglob package
wants /usr/bin/bash instead of /bin/bash. Apparently I added a symlink
from /usr/bin/bash to /bin/bash, since no package owns that symlink.)
