No, I haven't. In fact I just installed the 5.0.0.gutenprint drivers and 
haven't updated GIMP for some time. 

I'm certainly not impressed with the print quality - even on photo paper and 
with Gwenview the print quality is abysmal - very grainy and nowhere near 
what the printer can deliver. 

What's gimpprint?
