James, I'm not an apache expert, so you will need to check the release notes and what have been changed between the versions. I was just running the "old" version, as shipped with 10.0. Nothing fancy, couple of static pages and files. Then I hit a limitation, that before ver. 2.2 apache was not able to serve files bigger than 2G, so I just this repo, upgraded, and was fine.
