I have 866MHZ PIII with 768MB Ram. I had to reinstalled last week when my hard drive burped and corrupted all my sound files. Reinstall fixed and has been stable since. Even lastest kernel I put on yesterday seems OK so far.
I run a Nvidia FX 5200 card, Sound blaster sound card. i have not tried 64-bit stuff yet but am in the process of looking for new box. Thinking of building one so I don't have to get that Windows junk on it.
