I have had no problems with my installation after uninstalling zen.
I think you will have to uninstall (use yast, or rpm -e) novell-zen,

I forgot to delete Zen from my 10.2 installation. Now whenever I add an
update source, it takes about a half-hour to synchronize with Zen.
Can I just delete Zen with Yast, or will I cause problems removing a
functioning parasite?
TIA
Jim
In Yast you can uncheck Zen synchronization
