You need to experiment with kmix or alsamixergui and, one at a time, turn on/off, slide the sliders up/down, full and partial volume, etc _all_ options. More than likely you'll find one that needs to be off/on or that shouldn't be over 50% volume, etc. There isn't any one name for most of these options because IINM each manufacturer can give them whatever label they want.
