If xcdroast works for you, why stop using it? The latest 10.2 build in the repositories seems to be 0.98alpha 15-80... is there a reason you stopped using it? I haven't used it in years, but... I assume it still works the same as it used to. Was a very reliable program. I'm a K3B fan,, but I use KDE as my WM and it's nicely integrated into everything.
