[opensuse] policy kit won't allow usb access

Hi:

On one of my opensuse 10.2 systems when I try to open a removavble usb
device - camera or usb stick - I get the error message:

cannot look up privlege from policykit.


If I do this as root I get no error message.


Any hints?
