I really am a Linux GUI newbie (CLI expert), and I only setup this
desktop a couple days ago but ...

lpr causes the drawing to go to my printer.

file I assume creates a PostScript file. I assume I could then run
ps2pdf from cli to convert it.

FYI: The dia method is to export the drawing to a pdf, but that is
apparently broken in suse 10.2 and will shortly be fixed in factory.

Sigh, so what am I missing that allows DIA to directly print to a pdf printer?

Thanks
