[opensuse] Ghostscript Error?

The following error is being returned by ghostscript:

CRIT: rangecheck in get
Operand stack:
      /usr/local/share/fonts/marlett0.ttf    0

marlett.ttf does exist but marlett0.ttf doesn't. Reinstating and/or
deleting the font file makes no difference.

Any suggestions how to resolve this error?
