The problem is noone seems to care(or is happily willing to take an offer from
microsoft " a new Office Suit["to test OOXML"]? Or yet a whole PC with Vista
and Office software["to test OOXML"]?

Actually I don't think someone in the ISO who has the power to stop it, will
interfere with it, I mean, hey everyone knows it, you can read it everywhere,
another example is the sold sweden:
http://www.pro-linux.de/news/2007/11650.html (German Again, sorry):

It says that the swedish institude for standards(SIS), let in 23 companies in
the last minute(which didn't show any interest in discussing about OOXML, no
they just voted yes. Who wonders: they all where partners of Microsoft(execpt
google, who voted No). How could this happen? Well fairly easy, you just have
to pay 1.920€ to get a seat[17.000 Swedish Crowns]

Just for the record: 34 parties took part in the vote:
25 Yes
6 No
3 abstentioned

Beside: After the suddenly appeared microsoft partners the opponents where
offered to leave the vote without paying the fee, if they wouldn't vote. Many
of the (not microsoft) companies left immediately under protest, among others
IBM.

Btw. what have Brazil, China, India and South Africa in common?
you know it ;) (they've other things do than care about M$ money)

Greetings from a depressed
Michael

P.S.: Just google for it, there are enough English reports on it too :)
