Oh, that's funny!  I actually started the project I'm doing in Eclipse, but 
gave up because the tool didn't have a GUI editor and the third-party tool I 
was attempting to use (http://www.windowbuilderpro.com/) would crash always 
in Linux. 

In any case, I tried making a simple GUI with Monodevelop. I was stopped after 
trying to add custom icons to the toolbar. The icons were added to the 
project but then somehow not found. My search for a tutorial on how to do 
this turned up nothing.

I wonder if one couldn't use the Glade tool to generate something then open it 
in monodevelop...
