You're right. not entirely but nearly entirely. It receives no further development, also no bugfixes and performance improvements for actual hardware. Reiser4 (not Reiserfs 4) will never be completed! And i've never seen Reiser4 in a productive environment. But that is the one we want to have, or maybe ZFS. For example, Fefes benchmarks shows incredible performance with reiser4.
