Hello,

I'm running OpenSUSE 10.2.

I have courier, fetchmail, postfix and procmail set up.
Squirrelmail will hopefully be used to provide a web based alternative
for checking mail when not near my own machine.

My problem however is that after installing squirrelmail and running
through the various configuration options, it does not seem to be
connecting to the courier server to authenticate me.

I therefore need your help.

1. does Squirrelmail leave any logs behind while trying to authenticate a user?
2. Is there anything in particular that I need to do in OpenSUSE 10.2
to get squirrelmail to work with courier?
3. where can I see what form squirrelmail looks for the username /
email address in? I have seen that it may be possible that it is only
looking for the user's account name and password however I have also
seen that it may be looking for a full email address.

I want it to except my username with no domain name and a password.

I have verified that courier is excepting my username and password.
Why won't Squirrelmail?

Any help with this would be very appreciated.
