Wierd!

What editor is set? If you're using vi, try hitting ESC, x
Of course, you probably want to change it if that's what's set, and I'm not
sure how you do that (set -o emacs perhaps? I think that's what ksh would use).

Subject: [opensuse] bash_history

Hello,

I have a problem concerning the bash_history: When I use the arrow-keys
to flip through the different entries in the bash_history the last
character of the command line cannot be deleted. This is a bit
disturbing, since I did not change anything and this behaviour was not
there before.

Any help is welcome.

Thanks,

Stefan
