I never had any problems with OO on my ATI machine but it froze up just
recently on my brand new nVidia machine. I wasn't sure at all what to
attribute it to, as I had a bunch of things opened. But this is almost certainly
it, as the mouse behaved very strangely (would only move to certain places
on the screen and no clicks at all registered). I have version 100.14.09 of
the nVidia driver. I just opened OO Calc and was looking at a very simple
spreadsheet when my system took a dive.
