Do you still have the problem?
If yes, could you please send me the strace log?
cd /usr/lib64/ooo-2.0/program # or /usr/lib/... with 32-bit OOo
strace -o /tmp/strace.log -f -tt -s 512 ./soffice.bin
bzip2 /tmp/strace.log
You need to use strace32 if you have 32-bit OOo on 64-bit system.
