Hi, I installed 10.3 in vmware server (running on 10.2 :) ), just to check it out. I installed the vmware-tolls in the guest as well, and ran vmware-config.pl there.
Now, 2 problems popped up: 1. The auto-release of the mouse did not work at first - it seems the config script does not update xorg.conf properly. After I changed the driver for the mouse from "mouse" to "vmmouse" and restarted X, this function is working. 2. The autofit guest function is not working. I have it selected, but when I go in Quick View mode, it does not change the guest resolution. I googled around, and searched the vmware forums, but did not find any solution. All documnets I find are just How-To's, where it says it should work. And it does not. Any advice how to proceed?
