Having an interesting problem with installing 10.3. I'm testing the 10.3 KDE CD out in VirtualBox (1.5.0), and the install went flawless until after the Network step. The network configuration was detected correctly but before I could click Next it drops out of the GUI YaST installer to the console. A few typical boot messages scroll by.. and then I'm presented with the KDM login screen. I cannot log in of course since no users have been created. The installer does not complete - it doesn't get as far as the Online Update part of the install or the Create Users part.
If I reboot the VM, and tell it to boot from hard drive, the installer eventually restarts, and it tells me I have a failed install, but that it can recover. I tell it to recover the install, and it starts with the root password step. Follow all the steps back to the Network step and it repeats.. after finding the network config, it drops to console mode.. and then starts KDM asking for a login.
