It is ok under kwin (kde's window manager) because kwin's focus stealing prevention copes well with it, however, if you're using metacity (gnome) or compiz then it will indeed steal focus. > Could Yast open just one windows and display all its messages in that > window? > I think that was the behavior in 10.2. Actually 10.2 behaved in the same way. It would be certainly preferable to use a single window.
