Thanks for the reply. At the end of the bug report it suggested trying ktorrent 2.2. I did. It works fine. Installing the new ktorrent did remind me though, that after installing 10.3 I've also got to go get all the proprietary stuff, the Nvidia drivers, the mplayer codecs, the mp3 lame thing, maybe even a new ktorrent client again.
