James, can you tell me what you have in /etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2 for these entries: FW_SERVICES_EXT_TCP FW_SERVICES_EXT_UDP FW_ALLOW_FW_BROADCAST_EXT Or even better, can you send me your file, so I can compare all the settings (maybe I overlook something). Also, which kernel are you running, and what versions of samba client and server?
