As readers of this list know, a whole while ago I had problems with KMail 10.0
producing output in something that looked like Chinese. I am now running
9.3, and KMail works perfectly--knock on wood! I am watching the 10.3
reports very closely, as the 9.3 is pretty choosy as to the printers it will
print to, and I have to go to Windows, generally, to print, and I'm not
smart enough to network the machines. (I email to myself.) I use KDE,
and if I had to use GNOME, I'd find another distro.

As this goes to "print," does anyone know if the Brother HL-2040 is supported
out of the box, in 10.3? There is supposed to be a driver, which I think I
downloaded, but I don't know how to make it work.
