If you wanted to stick with a 64 bit browser I did find a place to still
download Blackdown java, which has a working 64 bit java plugin. The
only problem is it is 1.4.2. It does work though. Check out
ftp://mirrors.ibiblio.org/pub/mirrors/blackdown/JDK-1.4.2/amd64/03 I
installed the jdk, just so you know.
I'll have to look into that. I'm surprised that Sun hasn't come up with
a 64 bit plugin, as so many computers are 64 bit these days.
