Shame on you for mentioning What's-his-name! hehe. Actually, I used to have a 3rd party mouse about 10 years ago that did the same thing with 3 buttons. Way back in the roller-ball mice days. :-) Heck, scroll wheels were unheard of! And that company opted to do something else with that third button (don't remember what) when they upgraded models.
